Have you always wanted to try painting? If so, this is the perfect time and place to begin. Beginning and experienced artists are encouraged to join, as are non-artists, friends and spouses.

Whether you have never painted before or you're a seasoned painter, renowned Southern California artist and instructor, Eva Margueriette, will guide you individually in capturing the Provence landscape en plein air in your own unique style. You will take home a painted journal filled with treasured memories of your European creative adventure.

Explore the breathtaking splendor of beautiful Southern France, roaming through the majestic Provence countryside of vineyards, olive groves and ancient stone farmhouses. Visit historic hill villages and meander through local provencal outdoor markets. 

Each day we'll feed our creative souls. There will be daily painting sessions, individual instruction and demonstrations by Eva which will improve your skills and expand your art experience.

We’ll be staying six nights in Villeneuve lez Avignon, a lovely village located on the Rhone River across from Avignon. We’ll take day trips to small Provence villages in the Luberon Valley where we'll paint and explore local life. 

Villages we'll visit include: Gordes... Bonnieux... Saint-Remy de Provence... and Pernes les Fontaines, recognized as a Les Plus Beaux Detours de France village, one of the 100 most beautiful villages in France. We'll spend an afternoon in charming Isle-sur-Sorgue, next to the Sorgue River, with more than 300 antique shops.

We'll visit and paint in Provence's two UNESCO World Heritage site cities, Avignon and Arles. We'll take a day trip to Cote du Rhone's most celebrated wine village, Chateauneuf du Pape, for a day of painting and wine tasting. Plus we'll have a French Provencal cooking class and dinner with a local chef.

Optional before breakfast group pleasure walks around Villeneuve lez Avignon and along the Rhone River are organized for travelers who want some morning exercise before starting their vacation day.
