Experience the Magic of Autumn in Germany and the Czech Republic – It’s Oktoberfest Season!

There’s no better time to explore Germany and the Czech Republic than in the vibrant, golden days of autumn—when the weather is crisp, the landscapes are glowing, and Oktoberfest is in full swing.

Join us for seven unforgettable days and six luxurious nights as we dive into the proud cultures and rich histories of two of Europe’s most captivating capital cities: Prague and Berlin. Along the way, you’ll stay in elegant five-star accommodations, enjoy expert-led tours, and have time to explore on your own.

Start in Prague – The Heart of Bohemia

Our journey begins in Prague, where we’ll spend the first three nights. Set on the banks of the Vltava River, this enchanting city has been a hub of Czech cultural, economic, and political life for over a millennium.

With its fairy-tale charm and world-renowned architecture, Prague is a dream destination for history and design lovers. With the help of our expert local historian, you’ll explore:

  • Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its famous Astronomical Clock

  • Wenceslas Square and the Municipal House, a jewel of Art Nouveau design

  • The former Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and Powder Tower

  • The majestic Prague Castle, Strahov Library, and St. Vitus Cathedral

  • The historic Estates Theatre, where Mozart once conducted

We’ll stroll through baroque gardens, admire Gothic spires and Art Nouveau facades, and navigate Prague’s winding cobblestone lanes while learning about its fascinating—and sometimes turbulent—past:
From the anti-papal uprisings of the 15th century to Habsburg rule, the Thirty Years' War, communist history, and Prague’s role in the Soviet era.

Along the way, you’ll experience authentic Czech culture:
Sample beer and sausages at a local brewpub, unwind in traditional coffee houses, hear live music, and taste seasonal Bohemian cuisine.

You’ll also have free time to explore Prague at your leisure—shop in boutique stores, bike along the river, or simply relax at a sidewalk café.

Travel to Berlin – From Bohemian Romance to German Dynamism

Mid-week, we board a first-class international express train from Prague to Berlin—a comfortable 4.5-hour ride through picturesque autumn countryside.

Upon arrival in Berlin, we’ll check into our five-star hotel and begin exploring this dynamic, ever-evolving capital with our local guide. Known for its dramatic past and cutting-edge present, Berlin is one of Europe’s most compelling cities.

Key highlights include:

  • Pariser Platz & Brandenburg Gate

  • Reichstag (German Parliament) and Unter den Linden Boulevard

  • Holocaust Memorial, Deutscher Dom, and Französischer Dom

  • Berlin Wall Memorial & Checkpoint Charlie

We’ll explore former East Berlin, visiting the Topography of Terror Museum at the site of the former Gestapo and SS headquarters. We’ll also examine post-war Soviet architecture, discuss Stalin-era projects, and understand how socialist ideals reshaped the city.

You’ll enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Spree River, providing a different perspective on Berlin’s historic and modern landmarks.

Explore Berlin Your Way

During your free time in Berlin, you can:

  • Visit the renowned Museum Island (UNESCO site)

  • Tour the striking Jewish Museum Berlin

  • Explore Charlottenburg Palace or nearby Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam

  • Sip a cold Oktoberfest beer in Prater Garten, Berlin’s oldest beer garden

  • Sample handmade confections at Rausch Schokoladenhaus

  • Ride to the top of the Berlin TV Tower for panoramic views

  • Wander through the East Side Gallery or discover Berlin’s buzzing art scene

  • Shop at the famous Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) or browse local boutiques

Whether you're drawn to history, architecture, food, or fashion—Berlin has something for everyone.
