An intimate small group tour for... flower & garden lovers... architecture & home decor lovers... all travelers who love the English countryside and nature's summer beauty!

 

Experience charming rural life in South East England... visit England's spectacular country houses and gardens... see the beautiful English countryside in the height of summer... meander through quaint English villages... capping off the week attending the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, England's largest flower show.

We'll spend a week in Sussex & Kent counties visiting world-famous gardens, seeing magnificent castles... touring stately country houses to include -- Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Great Dixter House & Garden, Penshurst Place, Hever Castle, Nymans and Chartwell.

 

We'll take a day trip to visit Charleston Farmhouse, the former country house of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant... visit Monk's House, the former country house of Virginia Woolf... where we'll learn about the Bloomsbury Set, a group of English artists, writers and intellectuals in the 1st half of the 20th-century which Bell, Grant and Woolf were part of.

We’ll meet in London and stay our first night at the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, a traditional luxury London hotel located in the heart of London in the prestigious Mayfair district, before heading to Sussex and Kent. The hotel is centrally located near prime shopping and a short walk to St. James Park, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. Our week-long tour begins Saturday evening at 6:30PM with a Welcome Reception… an opportunity to meet everyone and review the week’s itinerary.

Sunday we'll head to Sussex and Kent for a full week visiting South East England's most stunning gardens and country estates. We'll be based for four nights in Rye, one of England's most charming medieval villages located along the coast in East Sussex. We'll stay in a lovely family-owned inn located in the center of Rye on one of town's most picturesque lanes. Each evening we'll explore & experience the Rye's special restaurants and pubs.

 

From Rye we'll take day trips on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday visiting Kent & Sussex renowned gardens, grand country homes and ancient castles. Thursday morning we'll travel back to London stopping at gardens on the way.

Friday morning we’ll rise early to be among the first visitors to enter the Royal Horticulture Society’s Hampton Court Place Flower Show. We'll travel from central London to Hampton Court Palace where we'll spend the morning with our private Blue-Badge horticulture guide to experience a memorable day visiting the world's largest flower show. It will be a treasured day to remember for all flower !overs!​ 

 

The afternoon will be open to have a relaxing lunch at the show... tour the flower show at your leisure... shop at the flower show boutiques...or take the afternoon to visit London landmarks.

 

Friday evening we’ll gather for a traditional English cuisine farewell dinner.
