All WalkEurope tours are personally designed and escorted by Tom Harter, President and Co-Founder of WalkEurope.

 

Tom is a seasoned global traveler and international business executive who has visited more than 35 countries and lived and worked for nearly a decade in Europe and Asia—traveling extensively for both business and pleasure.
 

Before founding WalkEurope in 2014, Tom spent over 30 years in the media and advertising industries. His career included roles with The Wall Street Journal in Brussels, Hong Kong, Chicago, and Los Angeles, as well as positions at international advertising agencies managing the United Airlines and Northwest Orient Airlines accounts. He also worked with internet marketing firms specializing in the automotive manufacturing sector.
 

Throughout his career, Tom has collaborated closely with many of the world’s leading airlines, luxury hotel companies, cruise lines, and tourism organizations.
 

A native of Iowa, Tom is a graduate of Iowa State University and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Tom resides in Southern California with his wife Shelley. Together they enjoy traveling the world.
