Join us for an extraordinary week in Rome and to the South of Italy visiting Naples, Pompeii, The Amalfi Coast and Capri!

We'll stay three nights in Rome and delve into Rome's ancient history. See the city's top landmarks. We'll engage with its people and experience today's modern Roman city life!

The Rome Discovery Trip includes private tours with local historian guides of the Vatican Museum, Sisitine Chapel,  and Saint Peter’s Basilica... and private tours of The Colosseum and The Forum. We'll visit the Pantheon... the Spanish Steps... Borghese Gardens... Piazza Navona... and toss coins into Trevi Fountain.

There will be free time for shopping in Rome's markets and boutiques... enjoying delicious Italian cuisine and gelato... and exploring Rome on your own... and relaxing at a sidewalk cafes.


Mid-week we'll travel to the South of Italy in a private bus to visit the rebowned Naples Archelogical Museum and tour the vast Pompeii archaeological site which was once a striving and sophisticated Roman city. Pompeii was buried in ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 C.E.  We'll have a private tour with a local historian guide to learn about Pompeii and its people. Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a "must see" for all travelers!


The second half of the trip we'll stay in beautiful Sorrento along the majestic Gulf of Naples visiting Italy's stunning Amalfi Coast, one of the world's most beautiful coastlines, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll stay three nights in Italian resort hotels with extraordinary hosipality. We'll stroll through Sorrento's historic city centre with its narrow lanes and ancient buildings. At dusk we'll see spectacular sunsets from Sorrento's coastline.

We'll take a drive along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast to Ravello to visit Villa Cimbrone Garden and its Terrace of Infinity with one of the world's most beautiful views; we'll visit the 6th century Duomo di Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Amalfi; and we'll see the picturesque coast town, Positano, where jet-setters flock from the world over.
We'll take a day trip traveling by hydrofoil to the island of Capri where we'll ride in Capri's unique open air taxis to the hilltop village of Anacapri. We'll visit Villa San Michele and its lush garden overlooking the Gulf of Naples.


The trip includes a welcome reception with local wines and chesses... an Italian wine tasting session with a regional expert... ... and a farewell dinner with Italian local-cuisine and wines.

There will be free time in Sorrento for personal sightseeing, enjoying delicious Southern Italian cuisine, relaxation, and shopping.

Optional before breakfast group pleasure walks through Rome and Sorrento are organized for travelers who want some morning exercise before starting their vacation day.
