Bicycles of  Holland

The grandeur of autumn colors along Amsterdam canals... the magnificence of morning and late-afternoon light on Amsterdam canal houses... the tranquility and stillness of Amsterdam in the autumn... it is a painter's sanctuary!

Spend a fabulous week in Holland... come and join a small group of plein air painters in majestic Amsterdam!

We'll have painting sessions in Amsterdam's picturesque historical district -- along the endlessly charming canals and among the grand canal houses with their brightly colored shutters and curved shaped gables.

We'll take a day trip to Utrecht to paint in the beautiful medieval Central Netherlands university town.

With our local art historian guide we'll have a private tour of the Rijksmuseum to see and learn about the paintings of 17th century Dutch Golden Age masters. We'll see Vermeer’s The Milkmaid, and Rembrandt’s Night Watch, and discover many lesser-known artists.

We'll take an Amsterdam canal boat ride to see and learn about Amsterdam canals and architecture.

Non-painter friends and spouses of artists are welcome to join as there are many non-painting activities.

There will be personal free time to visit the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum and Tulip Museum... to explore Amsterdam on your own... go cheese tasting... shop in outdoor markets and at Amsterdam department stores & boutiques.

We'll stay in a personally selected charming premiere/signature hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam's historical district.

Optional before breakfast group pleasure walks are organized for travelers who want some morning exercise before starting their vacation day.
