Join us for an extraordinarly fun and fabulous, and highly educational, packed week in beautiful Rome... and to the South of Italy to visit Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri!

We'll start in The Eternal City where we'll stay three nights in Rome's historic city-centre. We'll delve into Rome's ancient history taking small group private tours with local historian and art history guides... we'll see the city's top sites and historic landmarks... we'll engage with the Roman people and experience Roman city life!

We'll take private tours with our local guides visiting the Vatican Museum, Sisitine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica... and to The Colosseum and The Forum. We'll see the Pantheon... Spanish Steps... Borghese Gardens... Piazza Navona... and make wishes before tossing coins into Trevi Fountain.

There will be free time to shop in Rome's markets and boutiques... enjoy delicious Italian cuisine... sample gelato... and relax at sidewalk cafes.
Mid-week we'll travel to the South of Italy to tour the vast Pompeii archaeological site... a "must see" UNSECO World Heritage Site for all world travelers! Pompeii was once a striving and sophisticated Roman city before it was buried in ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 C.E. We'll have a private tour with a local historian guide to learn about Pompeii, its people and its progressive civilization.
The second half of the tour we'll be based for three nights in beautiful Sorrento along the majestic Gulf of Naples. We'll stroll through Sorrento's historic city centre with its narrow lanes and ancient buildings. At dusk we'll see spectacular sunsets from Sorrento's coastline.
We'll take a day trip to see Italy's stunning Amalfi Coast, one of the world's most beautiful coastlines. The Amalfi Coast is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll take a drive to Ravello to visit Villa Cimbrone Garden and its Terrace of Infinity, with one of the world's most stunning views. We'll visit the 6th century Duomo di Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Amalfi... and we'll see Positano, the picturesque seaside town where jet-setters come from all over the world to vacation.
We'll take a day trip traveling by hydrofoil to the island of Capri where we'll ride in Capri's unique open air taxis up the winding road to the hilltop village of Anacapri. We'll visit Villa San Michele and its lush garden overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
The tour includes many extras, including... a welcome reception with local wines and chesses... Italian wine tasting session with a regional expert... limoncello tasting... farewell gala dinner with Italian local-cuisine and wines.
There will be free time in Sorrento for personal sightseeing... enjoying delicious Southern Italian cuisine,... relaxation,.. and shopping.
Optional before breakfast group pleasure walks through Rome and Sorrento are organized each day for travelers who want some morning exercise before starting their vacation day.
