Almuña is part of a 500 acre farm where sheep graze among ancient oaks. The house has great comfort, a feel of age and an atmosphere of conviviality. In the cooler months a roaring log fire warms the elegant drawing room. There are 7 spacious double bedrooms each with their own good size bathroom. This is just the place to come for your own private house party with a group of friends for a week or a few days, perhaps to celebrate a family occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. For you, the host, the pleasure is to join in the fun without feelings of responsibility, and to leave it to Hugh and Jane to prepare delicious meals and to organise each day’s activities.
A House Party Holiday at Almuña - 2010 You are invited to join our house party. There will be a programme of activities for the week which includes walks, golf, bird and whale watching, cooking demos, yoga, tennis, talks on the Civil War and Moorish History together with trips to local towns and villages. However, there will always be the alternative of staying put at Almuña, perhaps by the pool, reading or even painting. There will be time to enjoy a leisurely lunch, chilled white Rueda and a recuperative siesta in the shade.
