These holidays have been created and are run by two husband-andwife teams, Hugh and Jane Arbuthnott in Andalucía and Morocco , and Adam Hopkins and Gaby Macphedran in Extremadura , the Canaries and the route to Santiago . They all live in Spain and are devoted to the people and their culture and will show you places and aspects of life far removed from every day tourism. The programme of holidays in this brochure is for mixed groups of no more than 15 in which you are likely to meet interesting people from various walks of life. Holidays may also be reserved for exclusive private parties.

Eating and drinking well is hugely important and great care is taken to introduce you to the best that is eaten in the area. The same attention is given to the quality of wine, selected from the finest regions of each country.

Whether in the hubbub of a square in Portugal or the solitude of a Spanish sierra, comfort is a high priority, but not in soulless hotels. Places to stay have been found of great charm and are often totally private.

The climate in the Iberian Peninsula in spring and autumn is usually most agreeable when clear blue skies, a pleasant temperature and gentle breezes can be expected. The Canaries are renowned for most pleasing weather during the European winter.
